If the accident was someone else’s fault then you can lodge a claim with the other driver’s CTP insurer and claim loss of wages, your medical expenses and, in some circumstances, pain and suffering and domestic assistance.
Very strict time limits apply to motor accident claims. Some forms have to be lodged as soon as 28 days after the accident. Be sure to notify the Police within 28 days of the accident.
