Public Liability Case Study A

After hitting a pothole and being thrown from his motorcycle, a 37 year old client of Burgan Lawyers suffered significant internal injuries, which were further complicated when he later experienced bilateral deep vein thromboses and pulmonary embolism. Burgan Lawyers was able to successfully argue that the pulmonary embolism was caused because he had a non-functioning spleen due to the accident. Burgan Lawyers were able to successfully resolve this client’s case against the local Council responsible for the pot hole, arguing the pot hole had been not properly repaired. Burgan Lawyers helped our client achieve compensation of over a half a million dollars.
